We provide families with easily accessible, age-appropriate community service opportunities to give back to their world — with direct impact on our neighbors and communities in Licking, Fairfield, and Franklin counties, Ohio.

What we do

Our community service projects include

Special Projects — the heart of Sending Hope Ohio. Built around a specific, often urgent need of an individual or family. Past projects have brought joy to pediatric cancer patients, supported bereavement, helped children in foster care, and provided emergency resources.
Group-led Projects or Events — monthly projects around a central theme: tea and craft parties at nursing homes, community service fairs with local universities, kindness campaigns, and even a penpal program.
Tailored for Your Group — looking for a project for your classroom, scout group, or organization? We’ll find or build one around your interests. Host a service event at your holiday party, or donate that basement of used baby items — we’ll find a family in need.
Independent Projects — want to help on your own but not sure where to start? We have the connections and suggestions to point you in the right direction.
Children’s Community Service Parties — occasionally the four founding children host community playdates with a service project. Families of all ages 0–99 are welcome. Come make a new friend and make the world a better place at the same time!
