Granville July 4th Parade Information
Date: July 4th
Time: Parade participants must arrive at the float between 9-10 am. Participants are NOT allowed into the staging area past 10:15 am.
Where: The parade runs from the staging area at Wildwood Park (785 West Broadway) to the Granville District Office (130 North Granger Street), which is 1.1 miles long. The float will be unloaded a block further on College Street and will return to Wildwood.
Parking: Parking is available at Wildwood Park and at the end of the parade route at Granville Elementary School. Bathrooms are available at Wildwood Park.
Please Bring:
- Wear red, white, and blue clothing (please no political or religious references) and comfortable shoes
- Water and sunscreen
- Optional: non-melting candy to distribute in the parade
Additional notes and safety:
- The Granville July 4th Festival is located at the end of the parade route and opens immediately after the parade concludes.
- Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Space on our float is very limited. Please plan on walking.
